Jollymotor EP boat

Jollymotor is my first EP boat. Bought this from a friend for fraction of the original cost. I have always dreaming having atleast one boat and finally I've got one. This is not regular speed boat but it has been tuned and upgraded to achived greater speed and stability through trim tab, precise CNC rudder, upgraded ESC and motor. Propelar made out off aluminum and ESC and motor are watercool trough special water cooling system. I've tested this evening at UUM recreational lake. Sharp turn, not easy to turn over, very fast, good power system. I like it very much. Money well spend. Will take video later since I forgot to bring my vid cam. However I've still lot's to learn about boating.

Updates video recorded at UUM recreation lake last day.

Subaru maiden

This is her maiden video. Video taken by Uda at Batu Pahat flying site.

This plane is super stable with good flying characteristic. Not easy to stall and glide nicely in the air. Take off just mere a couples of meters. Landing with throttle off. What can I say..I like this plane. Look very scale in the air also.

EC-135 Align Fuselage

Since my MD500 still at Yus artshop, to fill in my free build time, I bought this secondhand EC135 align fuse from one of MRC members. Although this is second hand fuselage but everything still intact with little smudgy here and there and a missing window. After some cleaning it's good as new. I have to build quite high elevator platform from woods to attach my dragonus frame inside this fuse and also glue several magnets to the front window for easy battery access.

The internal compartment is quite big and easy to operate. Nothing fancy everything stock. Just insert my Dragonus frame and it's good to go. It takes me 3 days to complete this project since the fuse arrived.

I have this maidened video of my EC135 taken by my wife and it' fly neatly in the air.
Also with some pictures.. Neat eh?

Finally my conclusion this fuse worth every penny spend on her. Stable flight and easy to assemble. No need to add extra dead weight on the nose to counter tail heavy. Nicely build fuse. This is a thumbs up. On the minus side the fuse fiber glass is quite thin compare to heli artist and Align should employ Heliartist magnet type fuse for easy battery access. Better also if Align can incorporate fenetron style tail blade system which will make the fuse look more scale in the air.

Aero Subaru

Add Video
This is my new scale project..Giant EP Aero Subaru. Just finished installing the aieleron mechanism. Luckily I have the motor that suitable for this plane a 1400kv turnigy aerodrive motor.

Updates: Not yet completed but all the landing gear has been attached. New pictures uploaded replacing the old one.

Spec:
Wing span 44inc
Fuselage length 36inc

For foam plane this is pretty big one...huhuhu..

Not so lucky F4U maiden :-(

Hmm my previous experience flying f4u betray me.
The plane take off and take bumpy ride since the throw for elevator is quite high. I thought its good enough but need to reduce far more than I usually did on my low wing trainer. But the power is more than enough to lift and scream F4U in the air. However the behaviour is way off from my expectation since this little devil always need speed to maintain altitude or it will stall. Flying is no problem but the problem is with landing. It require power to land this bird. No floaty character and to make thing worst no wind at all to assist landing with harrier style. I've tried many attemp to bring her down but at the end I misjudge her character and she plunge to the ground due to stall. Hmm this bird require more power to land since the field is very wet the only option I had was the small pavement parking area at the stadium entrance this make thing worst.  There she goes..but I had repaired her for Uda.

F4U corsair by LanYu.

Brushless conversion of F4U corsair.

Setup:
1500kv BL Motor
8x6 APC like prop
30A ESC
1550 3s1p lipo
Stock servos..

Servo seems to respond slower but well I think it's enough.

Will maiden this tomorrow and see the result. This plane from my last experience is a floater..but with the stock brushed setup make this warbird look like a whimp. Brushless will make the best out of this plane. Fast and easy to assemble is the good side of this plane, just change the stock power house to brushless. Nice detail and good quality foam. Landing gear..hmm I believe better change to stronger one since the stock one easy to bend during landing.
