This gyro is the easiest setup ever. I just follow bob finless video once..and that is..very simple setup and all it takes only 2-3 minutes and my 600 ready to fly.
All I can say this gyro rock..I felt very confident with it when doing 3D manuever. It hold my 600N tail solid. Piro rate on both direction is consistent. No drift..felt like flying in my RFG4.5 sim. I'm no hard 3D flyer but all I can say, I'm very satisfied so far with this gyro. No fancy monitor and very light. Setup just a breeze away. Highly recomended. If you have extra money then spartan is really a good upgrade from good old 401.
