My coroextra finally rip. New blood coming..Bougt this plane from namlee and arrived yesterday. Burning the night candle and this plane ready for maiden this morning. Man I'm addicted. I removed the landing gear since I now it will bring a lot of trouble so no landing gear. The fin I put it on the other side of the wing. Everything stock coming with the kit. And the best thing it's EPP. AUW just under 235g.
Updates..Video taken this morning..All I can say..yes finally my aging coroextra of can finally rip. Piaget is tough and perform very well. I like it very much..Now I can practice my 3D much harder..

Finally a digital servo for my 450v2
Finally my v2 got it's the much needed upgrades..a digital tail servo. My selection is align DS520 since I've used this servo on F500 and I like the feels and speeds of this servo plus it's on sale on rcsmart. Installed and tested this evening and everything went well. My v2 tail finally hold significantly better with no tail kick during piro stop.

Pilatus porter updates..
Yup finally had her done just now with final touch up with my new dremel for the firewall job. I also installed lighting system for the plane using GT power Lighting system from HK. Everything setup nicely waiting this Friday for her maiden.
Hobby King Dremel style
The tool that I've been looking for without the price tag..a dremel multipurpose drill, sand, sizing..a must have tools for aero-modeller. I've been looking for this thing quite a while and finally HK comes out with this..great product. Now my jobs getting easier.
Nothing is better than this..(wireless perhaps) but for the price..heck I'm in...call me cheapskate..lol..

Baby Falcon EP HW Trainer
Today is the maiden voyage of Baby Falcon High Wing Trainer. Nothing fancy happen all went well. Good for beginner to start with. Easy to assemble and setup. Predictable flying and self correction due to dihedral wing design and big wing loading. Smooth and silky...Enjoy the video..
If you're interested with this plane..give me a call or email me. I can get this plane for you.

Spartan DS760 vs SJGD PG800 gyro
PG800 is one of the gyro that has been claimed by others as a copy from spartan DS760. Since I have both gyro's so I'm going to put some review on the performance for both gyro.
1. Setup: Pretty much the same for the basic setup for both gyro. You can setup limit for left and right rudder range, reverse, and servo type selection. For beginner and intermediate flyer this is good enough. But for advance flyer more programming can be altered for both gyro. Since I'm not advanced flyer so I say it's good enough for me for flying and simple 3D. Spartan on the other side has the ability to update the firmware (like the OS for the gyro) through special cable. For PG800 I don't think any firmware upgrade just parameter alteration is allow (to my knowledge like the 611). PG800 has this LCD programming box which allow us to change any programming required. It's easy to bring this box compared to spartan which required PC or PDA to change the required parameters.
2. Design case: almost like the same but you can see the different from the picture.
3. Performance: DS760 paired with DS620 align servo on 600N and PG800 on the 500 paired with DS520 Align servo. Well Pretty much the same. Constant piro rate both side, tail hold nicely during inverted, conti-flip, tic-toc, rainbow, pretty much all my basic 3D needs feels almost the same. (I really wish to become pro flyer to test these gyro to the limit..huhu).
4. Price: Well for PG800 unit alone you can get as low as usd115 and for Spartan arround usd180. See your wallet which price suited you.
Conclusion: As many claim PG800 is comparable to DS760 I cannot say much on this but there's many video on the net show what PG800 is capable. Definately it much better from GY401 and a good upgrade from this defacto gyro.

T500
Updates:
All system's up and ready for maiden. So far so good..my plan is to test fly this morning but sadly very2 windy outside today. Hmm windy season coming.. :-(
....end of updates
I guest I cannot stand my free time without doing any RC project. So here it is my new project assembling T500. This unit has full CNC head and tail with FG frames. It also comes with 1600KV motor and 60A Hobbywing/Turnigy ESC. Right now waiting for electronic to arrive. The kit comes 80% assembled and it takes only a couple of hours to complete the assembly.
I'm going to install the following:
Cyclic: Hitec HS-5245MG Servo
Tail: Align DS520 Digital Servo
Gyro: PG-800 (spartan clone???)
